Board of Directors – Call for Nomination

The North Muskoka NPLC is currently looking for interested individuals with a professional background or governance experience in the following areas:

  • Finance
  • Legal (expertise in the non-profit sector)
  • Health equity and community engagement
  • Patient advocacy

Board members are responsible for providing strategic direction and governance leadership with a focus on facilitating improvement in client health and wellness.  Time commitment is approximately 2 hours monthly with a two-year term.

Employment Opportunities

We are currently looking for;

Social Worker (MSW)  – Permanent Part Time

Qualifications:

  • Registration with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers
  • 3-5 years relevant work experience
  • Excellent inter-personal, communication and decision-making clinical skills
  • Demonstrated ability to teach, counsel and develop written educational materials
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and as a member of a multi-disciplinary health services team
